I... Just...
I just checked local CL for sub $5k Corvettes because Corvette. Hit a dozen or so C4s. ONE was a manual trans. What's wrong with people!?

Not sure if this one made the list already or not. I did not see it on the latest 2 pages.
1250. Add says good drive train, bad interior, no title.

That's remarkably balanced. Something like 90% of C4s were automatic.
If I had to suffer with the 4+3, or the skip shift on the ZF models, I'd go automatic too.

Seriously an automatic isn't much of a penalty behind an SBC. Rodger Johnson won tons of events with his 86 & swore it was faster than a manual - and he was beating C5s until the Z06 arrived. And if you need to row your own, a manual valve body for the 700r4 is cheap.
I think a lot of you who have driven them will agree that there ain't a whole lot of foot room in that C4 footwell for a clutch pedal if you have big feet!

HTF did I miss those???
Interesting. Btw, def not a Callaway hood, but I can see why the NACA ducts might point in that direction if you weren’t hip to the Callaway C4s.

I like that spray-can special with the spinners. (Porsche charges extra for the blacked-out logo.)

This 1986 corvette was running. I started to restore the car. I have the engine disassembled cleaned and checked the clearances and have some ware, the heads and valve guides are good. I ported the heads for better flow and more horse power, the valves and seats need to be ground. All the engine parts were cleaned and beed blasted ready to be installed. The engine compartment has been cleaned. The transmission worked it drove off the trailer to my driveway it has not been touched the overhaul price i received was $875.00 that includes a new overhaul kit and torque converter. I have purchased another padded dash top cover. It needs a new carpet seat covers and some plastic door parts, door seals are removed top seal and back window hatch seal aswell, it needs a windshield. I have all the bolts and hardware has been cleaned aswell. I purchased it for $3,500 and started to restore it and injured my back and shoulder and stopped the project and now i have other medical problems. I have put in many hours in this car. This is a good project car for someone who wants to restore a c4 corvette to a new car again. If you have any questions call me my phone # 609-442-4463 ask for jeff.

- Because if you are actually shopping for a Lambo, a basket case C4 is basically the same thing.

That belongs to someone here & there’s both a build thread & for-sale post on here. Can’t remember his username right now though.
