I may be on later. Spending the New Year at home as we always do.
Server may be down. I will check it in a bit. I am going to be testing more GT3 cars tonight. I may go over the Watkins Glen for testing as I know that track so well. I may also try them at limerock.
That seems pretty close really.
I ran across this also. AC has some high, and climbing number of online users:
Lots of testing last night. What I learned is that some cars that I can not drive Prodarwin can absolutely clean house with. I think we both agree that the Z4 is an excellent car.
I still need to test the Bentley GT3 cars. I am hoping we can get Racebricks system to work with them.
I just noticed that the lap time that Pro set in the other 911 is not on the list. I think he was in the low 1.09
Pro do you remember?
I may take the 911 that I really like and experiment with different tires. Maybe try the tires off the Huricon. The current tires on it have an unrealistic cooling model. You can slide and turn them bright red and they will cool down almost instantly.
I could also see about using the tires off the Kunos 911.
A reminder to everyone to download the GT3 car pack on the Google drive. It is 6GB so unless you have fast internet don't wait until just before you want to play. Due to its size we will not leave it up there indefinitely. I will most likely archive it in my Assetto Corsa Onedrive folder.
Tonight's Times after more testing.
The cars below are on the server now. They are the top 10 cars from testing. The 458 is kind of a charity case as I just like the car. Pro and I tried some tuning and I could just not make it better. I think it may be a driving-style thing. I am sure that someone can make it work.
So, Dean called me last night. He was basically in tears, all he wanted was for me to come back and join in the races with you guys. I couldn't say no to those sad puppy dog eyes, so I'm going to try and participate in this series.
I spent a couple hours last night trying to get my wheel back working in AC. Finally after blowing away my entire config, switching it to keyboard+mouse, and actually driving a bit, I was able to reconfigure the wheel in game. It was very weird. The Logitech GHub saw the wheel with no issues. I could go into AC's settings directly and watch all the buttons, pedals and axis move, but none could be re-assigned and any that were already defined would not work. Odd, but whatever, it works now.
I'm going to need some practice before the series... so hopefully that is the plan for tonight. I managed a whopping 3 hot laps last night.
Yeah, he does that.... sometimes even when he can't find an orange livery.
Getting a wheel setup can be a bit of a dark art. Once there though... dona' toucha' nutin'
Don't get too worried, there are a few of us who don't exactly put a lot of practice time in.
NCM appears to be available in a decent form:

I was thinking of a schedule for the GT3 cars. It is an opportunity to run some of the larger tracks.
My quick list is:
Luguna
Watkins Glen
Daytona road course
Spa
redbull ring
Bathurst
Nuremberg (long or short)
Fuji Speedway
Silverstone
These are all tracks I like so if there are others that people want we can substitute those in.
I like those photos Air!!!
I was going to see if there were any good photos from Wednesday with everyone going in to turn one.
I also had a really close finish with Pro in one of the races. A quick video of us through the last complex may be good as well.
You'll need to log in to post.
