Welcome to the (un)official GRM - Project CARS2 series #3.
This is a 10 round GT3 Championship series hosted on the PlayStation4. Although highly competitive the main focus of the racing is fun clean racing. Because of this, rough driving is highly discouraged. The Stewards will be watching.
The series will be run on **Wednesday nights at 9:30ET**.
The first race will be on: **March 28th, 2018**
PS+ is required to participate.

I should say that you can run whatever car you want in the test. You aren't committed until you drive an actual scoring round. The test will run on the normal schedule and times.
I am going to have to pull the R8 out again and test it at WG short track and comparison it to the other cars tested as i only have driven it once in testing.
I’m planning on testing the M6 this Wednesday. I liked how it handled when I tested it previously, it just felt a bit heavy compared to the mid engine cars.
Not sure what my plan B is yet. I want the AMG to work, but I’m not sure I’ll get it there with the time I have to work on it. Maybe the McLaren or Audi then.

I thought that was Spool.
I thought that we were unsafe at any speed...
I did a little test to see what the Air Restrictor adjustment would do to performance. Full open setting to full restricted setting drops the top speed of the AMG by 15 mph.
Has anyone figured out what the difference is between the cars that are labeled as endurance or 24hr and the regular ones? Is it just a way for the PC2 people to say they have more cars in the game when they really don't?

So with damage off we should all just close them all the way down? Or ????
AND I may miss tomorrow I have been called out of state on business. I may get back in time but it will mean no practice and I still have not decided on a car. Anyone up for some practice tonight?
In reply to Argo1 :
We could just max out the AIs speed and aggression. They’d run off and leave us humans. Sauce would be stuck playing bumper cars.
Tonight is going to be interesting. Apparently it’s Spring Break and there is a sleep over at my house tonight. I’m planning to host and start the session but whether I get to participate or am busy wrangling kids I don’t know yet.
Dean and I ran some laps last night, it was a rather mixed experience. With the AI at 80 and a similar aggression level the races were pretty much a bloodbath. I never made it through T1 without incident, and the one time I made it through relatively clean I just got flipped upside down later.
As for the cars, also a mixed bag. It seems like all the cars I've driven are quite similar, but which is faster depends on the track. I'm tentatively leaning towards the GTR since no one else seems interested, but want to try out a couple of more cars as well.
I like the GTR. It has fun sounds. I tend to drive non-turbo cars better in the game, that’s why I’ve gone another direction. It would be sweet if we all picked different cars for the series.
No one else has expressed interest in the Lamborghini Huracan so that will be my choice. It seems to be pretty competitive and there is plenty of opportunity to tame the handling. A top tip: If your car doesn't like curbs, it won't like Zolder.
I am going with the 2015 Bentley. I will be passing out Grey Poupon from the back seat as my Butler gets me around the track keeping my self away from the rifraff.
You'll need to log in to post.
