yeah I did the 1st assasination but only invested with Franklin. In fact, I dont recall if I even remembered to sell a few days later! Regardless I have all the rest of the assassinations I will save till the end. I think I will have an adequate sum of money to where I wont feel the need to replay the game.
But the missions are fun enough it would be fun to replay it from the start, especially now that I know my way around the map and the game like I do now.

Yeah, I dumped about 40 hours into my first run- did a lot of side stuff, acclimated to the map, etc. Learned the controls well enough that I rarely fail a shootout anymore, unless I do something stupid. Tried some extra stuff too... for lulz. I know I could just go back and replay a mission on my old file- but that's not as fun. I was still LOADED on the old toons- (40+mil a toon) but I want the golf course- and that's 150mil. It's easier for me just to redo the whole thing. Plus it kinda makes the game more intense to run it fast and hard.... as it were.

Yep, which is why i'm doing what i'm doing. I can play once my work is done.
I scored what sure looked like a c7 vette last night. I decided it was a keeper and am parking it at Michael's.
I found that jalopy pickup, 6th picture down on failboat's post, and it did really well. Pretty quick and a fun handler. It doesn't have a lot of traction but maybe you could fix that at the customization shop?
You guys suck, especially the ones posting pics.
So I went and bought the game today, unpacked my PS3, and it's starting as i'm typing.

I'll bet the GTA chatter all over the internet is sending the NSA keyword searches into meltdown.
After finishing the game a few days ago, I'm still pretty underwhelmed at the ending. I won't spoil it for those who are still finishing it, but I imagine everyone's choosing option C for their first playthrough.
I expected the end result, I just think it could've been a bit more challenging or dramatic.
In reply to Racer1ab:
Eh, you don't buy GTA for the story. You buy it for free roam, which is the best ever and the online, which has no reason not to be the best ever when it comes out.

+1, you buy these games to create chaos/mayhem.......oh, and
Which was my point, this felt like the first GTA title where they had a fairly interesting story going throughout and then it just kinda putters out at the end.
Ah well, time to steal another C-130 and slam it into a blimp or airliner.

I picked option C. I figured that sounded the most fun- with a name like that how could I not?

I followed this, and each of my characters has around 1.2-1.5 billion dollars!

That right there is what i'm setting up for.
Haha. I switched to Trevor earlier. Hes on the highway riding a scooter, following/harassing another guy on a scooter calling him his "scooter brother".
He kept saying stuff to the guy as long as I kept up.
"We shall go on a journey. A journey of scooters."
I just about died laughing
