I live in Knoxville, TN and our junkyard situation is depressing. Incredibly limited stock. Nashville (~3 hrs away) has large selections but large prices (5.3LS $650 to pull it myself plus a core charge).
I need an LS engine for a car on a shoestring budget, so i'm considering driving to Cincinnati (~3.5 hrs) some upcoming weekend to pull my own at the Pull-A-Part for about $200. Any locals want to get together for a beer while i'm up there?
I'm pretty much locked down until after the challenge, but if your plans are after that I may be able to break away and help yank a motor! Which yard are you looking at?

I'm looking at the "U-Pull-&-Pay" on Seymour Avenue in Cincinnati. Looking online, they seem to have a huge and recent selection of GM trucks and SUVs that would provide a 5.3 (or maybe even a 6.0...)
