A new LX will be here for 2022, but we recently got to spend some time with the outgoing model.
Don’t worry, we’re not becoming SUV monthly, but if looking for a large, upmarket SUV, this one has to be on the short list. It’s comfortable, loaded with trimmings, and super comfortable for gobbling up those miles.
And if you’re in the market for a large, luxury SUV, you already know that the LX 570 helps define that category.
You can stick some wood on a few interior surfaces and call any SUV upmarket, but how does it feel when you slam the door? How do the switches click? Is the interior quiet or is it quiet?
That’s where the Lexus fits in. Take a big Toyota–never a bad vehicle–and make it even more plush.
So, this or something for Germany? Honestly, the Lexus makes a convincing argument. But here’s the big news: A new one is out for 2022. Now to see how much Lexus has raised the bar.
