The SCCA Pine Mountain Hillclimb presented by Grassroots Motorsports, set for May 1-2 at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Pineville, Kentucky, currently has 93 drivers entered from 19 different states with an entry cap of 100 participants.
The field includes champions from several SCCA programs–including Solo, Time Trials and Road Race–as well as a number of Hillclimb racers who will all be competing in 15 different trophy classes that includes King of the Hill, Queen of the Hill, fastest front-wheel-drive car and fastest hybrid or electric car.
Entries so far include everything from sedans to formula cars, with Street Unlimited, Super Production O and C Street Prepared featuring a bulk of the entires.
The Pineville Hillclimb Festival and Race Car Show happens Friday night before the event, and allows spectators to see both cars and drivers.
