Update! I spoke with Brian this morning. They're still searching for the trailer and race car. Keep an eye out for the pictured items above.
Thieves swiped this trailer, along with this distinctive Mercury Bobcat race car that was inside, from 1849 Foster Drive in Jacksonville, Florida. The theft occurred just after midnight on Sunday, October 2.
The black trailer has Racer Walsh logos on its sides and on the rear. It’s a 20-foot Cynergy Cargo trailer that bears the VIN No. 55YBC202XKN023088. While Brian Walsh owns the trailer, Jim Karamanis just recently bought the race car.
If you have any information about the trailer or the race car, please contact Brian Walsh.

^I have to wonder how often that sort of thing has been happening. Race car trailers get stolen on the assumption that they're full of valuable tools, and the thieves mostly end up with race cars which are hard to fence...
Such a senseless waste. $200k worth of trailer contents destroyed in the quest of a trailer that the thief might sell for less than $3k

Stupid people do stupid things.
That's insane.
Not only did the idiot bury the stuff, but he dug it up??? Did he think he was gonna return it??
Geez.
