Know if anything will be on youtube? I love watching drag week & enjoyed following oloa here. I wish more events got broadcast & greater coverage. Hope everyone has a great time
The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge, our annual no-holds-barred track competition, simply seeks the fastest machines on four wheels. The rules are brief: Car and driver must just pass a NASA safety inspection. Period. Run any tire and any suspension type, add seven turbos plus two superchargers, and re-engineer the chassis to your heart’s content. Concentrate on speed, not excuses.
The 2019 running of the Ultimate Track Car Challenge will officially be the largest ever, with a humongous field totaling 56 cars set to duke it out on Virginia International Raceway's full course. The action happens tomorrow, when NASA’s HyperFest weekend begins and the UTCC field is let loose on the track. Expect wicked noises, wild passes, and the fastest field of time trails cars on the planet. It wouldn't be possible without our partners: The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Tire Rack and Grassroots Motorsports, in association with Koni, Lucas Oil Products, Wilwood Disc Brakes, FCP Euro, and Chillout Systems, with trophies from SPA Technique, BimmerWorld, Mach V Motorsports, and AMT Motorsport.
If you can't be there in person, keep an eye on our homepage and social media pages, as we'll be posting from the event as much as possible.
If you can be there in person, you can get spectator tickets here.
See the cars up-close, talk to the people behind them, and revel in the amazing HyperFest weekend going on around you.

Yes it will! Not sure how much bandwidth we'll have for live coverage, but you'll see videos start going up almost as soon as we get back from the event.
