What makes Camp Motorsport different from other summer camps? As explained on the camp’s homepage, the key lies in the name: “Camp Motorsport’s summer camp is an exciting and dynamic motorsport-focused summer camp for boys and girls age 9 to 17. Your child will get the tools they need to build confidence and become a proficient driver, while learning new skills and making new friends.”

Located just outside of Clover, Virginia, and situated on the Staunton River, Camp Motorsport features 1.5 miles of go-kart track and 20 miles of off-road trails on more than 400 acres of rolling hills.

The camp offers unique motorsport-centric STEM programs that include improving racecraft, understanding racing science, and having the chance to experience driving fast on both tarmac and dirt.

In addition to the core programs, Camp Motorsport also offers more traditional summer camp activities like recreational sports, swimming, canoeing, campfires and pool parties.

Six sessions are offered, spilt into four one-week and two two-week sessions. The 2021 dates for these are as follows:

One-week camps:

  • June 20-26
  • June 27-July 3
  • August 1-7
  • August 8-14

Two-week camps:

  • July 5-16
  • July 18-30

Tuition starts at $1550 for a one-week camp and $2800 for a two-week camp. A $100 discount is available using code GMCM2021.

An grown-up version would be pretty cool.

Maybe add in some macaroni art.

When out of season, would they be interested in hosting rallycross event for adults to help fund summer operations? Add a donation box in the registration link for rallycross events as well...

Pretty please?
