That's very cool. I'm a huge fan of multiple sanctioning bodies running on and around the same weekend. It's good for everybody.

Think a race weekend filled with NASCAR and the Porsche Carrera Cup can’t get any more exciting? Think again: Gridlife Touring Cup is set to join the NASCAR Xfinity Series race weekend at Road America, July 27-29.
The July weekend won’t be the first Girdlife event at the Wisconsin race track, but it will be the series’ first time supporting a major racing event in North America.
“After a year away because of a date clash with the track repave, we’re genuinely excited and honored to return to Road America and support one of the biggest weekends on the calendar with GRIDLIFE competition,” said GRIDLIFE Motorsports Director Adam Jabaay.
“Road America is one of the best facilities in the sport and I’m sure our drivers will be excited to use the fresh pavement to reset GRIDLIFE track records again.”
Gridlife competitors will share paddock space with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the Porsche Carrera Cup. Visit grid.life for more information.

I think I see a road trip in the future. I invited a buddy who wants to run TC in the future out there. Sounds like a fun weekend.
I'd have to get picked but I really, really want to be part of this event.
Hell, I'd even run a air dam and spoiler while pretending its the 80's if I had to.
I'd like to see NASCAR & the Porsche Cup cars share the track. That would make for some entertaining racing!

Just watch Le Mans in June.
