HPD announces 11th-gen Civic Si customer race car

Today, Honda Performance Development announced that its 2022 Civic Si race car will be made available to customers later this fall, starting at only $55,000.

Assembled at the Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio–the same place that builds the NSX–the HPD Civic Si FE1 is purpose-built from a body-in-white that lacks a sunroof, sound proofing, insulation, underbody coating and seam sealer.

Power comes from a turbocharged, 1.5-liter L15CA engine backed by a “strengthened” six-speed manual transmission.
