Buy this Legnum wagon before one of our staff does because oh boy are they thinking about it.
Not only was this wagon named 1996 Japan Car of the Year, but it also represents a big leap over previous models, both in engineering and styling. Sadly, American drivers missed out on the Legnum-badged wagon variants as well as the iconic turbocharged, all-wheel-drive VR-4.
But since it’s been 28 years since its release, these eighth-generation Galant wagons are coming to the States.
Although it does have some dings and underbody corrosion, this right-hand-drive Legnum has a clean Florida title and is rated at about 276 horsepower with 268 lb.-ft. of torque. The wagon is also equipped with all the factory equipment along with some modifications, including 16-inch ASISS wheels.
Find this 1997 Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 for auction at Cars & Bids. Bids will close September 18.
