Wow! this is going to be a great year!
But not anything at all what i expected!
The Tire Rack One Lap of America has posted its 2022 schedule, and as usual it covers a bit of ground.
When the Cannonball Rally went legit | The history of the One Lap of America
Teams will again start at Tire Rack’s headquarters in South Bend, Indiana, before taking a circuit through the meat of the country–south and then east, with stops in Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama, then all the way west to Oklahoma and Kansas.
From there, teams still have to make it back to Tire Rack. The Tire Rack One Lap of America Presented by Grassroots Motorsports runs from April 30 through May 7.
Rack to Grissom: 81 miles or 1:23
Grissom to Nashville: 368 miles or 6:00
Nashville to Carolina: 431 miles or 7:17
Carolina to Barber: 393 miles or 6:04 (and thru Atlanta!)
Barber to Hallet: 700 miles or 10:17
Hallet to Heartland: 274 miles or 4:00
Heartland to Putnum: 518 miles or 7:52
Putnam to Rack: 187 miles or 3:09
Autox at Grissom. Drag Racing at Heartland.
there's still drag racing to add to that schedule, eventually
it'd be cool if we could hit up BMW performance center too, after CMP... but dunno if that's possible or not
I still look forward to the possibility of a couple other minor additions to the schedule.
also, looks like ~1hr 20mins of charging for the Teslas to get from Barber to Hallet:

The waitlist is already 40 deep. A team of 3 in a GRM style car is very easily done on a budget.
back of the envelope, assuming you already have a car that's "track prepped":
entry fee - $3500 / $4000
mandatory tires - ($750 to $1500) * 0.75 = $560 to $1200
hotels - ~$1000 to $2000
fuel - $500 - $1200
wear items - $500-$1500
food - $400/person
cost per person, 2 person team: $3500 to $4500
cost per person, 3 person team: $2500 to $3000
cost per person, 4 person team: $2000 to $2500
PPE for 'on track drivers' - $500 - $1000 (unless you already have it)
also, you could/should buy track insurance, and have a minimum liability coverage of $500k (iirc)
