Just checked the build date on the NB in my garage: 4/98. It's mildly upsetting to realize my "newer" Miata is technically a classic.

Imagine a festival that celebrates anything and everything Mazda Miata. No, we’re not talking about your local autocross, we’re talking about the annual Miata Reunion.
Set for October 20-22 at Sonoma Raceway, the 2023 Miata Reunion will be celebrating 25 years of the NB-chassis Mazda Miata.
The event promises something for pretty much every Miata enthusiast, including the chance to drive your Miata for a parade lap around Sonoma Raceway, test your driving skills in the Flyin' Miata Autocross Challenge, participate in the Moss Miata Car Show and much more.
Tickets start at $25 for general admission for the whole weekend.

Sure is hard to believe.
I have one year left to get my car back on the road before it turns 25. (but we bought our Alfa when it was just 23, and very much a classic)
