The team that led the “Save Palm Beach Raceway” campaign has now transitioned their energy to creating a new facility, the Atlantic Farms Motorsports Park. Their efforts to prevent the closure of Palm Beach International Raceway through a petition resulted in 15,000-plus signatures from enthusiasts. As a result of that interest, the team looks to fill the void left by the recent closure of the track.
“We saw the need from the community and how upset they were that PBIR was closing,” said Corey Saban, of CS Media Works, marketing partner of the Atlantic Farms Motorsports Park. “We wanted to create a [way] for them to continue to follow the sport they love.”
Plans for the Atlantic Farms Motorsports Park entail developing a 900-acre, world-class facility in Martin County–about 20 minutes away from PBIR. The grounds would include multiple road courses, a dragstrip, a karting track, car garages, a skid pad and expansive hospitality and clubhouse space. They foresee a schedule consisting of race events, special and charitable events, live entertainment and more.
Ultimately, organizers behind the facility want to create a South Florida destination that drives the local economy. They envision the Atlantic Farms Motorsports Park creating hundreds of jobs and internships, as well as educational opportunities for engineering- and mechanically-inclined individuals.
“We anticipate generating hundreds of millions of dollars into the local market through tourism and tax dollars while creating high-paying jobs to attract local talent to stay in South Florida,” said Al Guibord, CEO of the Atlantic Farms Motorsports Park, in a press release. “We are overwhelmed and encouraged by all the support we have received from our Save the Track campaign and are excited to work with county and state officials to bring this project to the region to benefit the entire community.”
With their intent now out in the open, the Atlantic Farms Motorsports Park looks to capitalize on burgeoning interest from motorsports enthusiasts and the local community as they begin the process of developing the facility.

Very interested and hopes it comes to fruition. One can also hope for one bank sweeping turn off a long straightaway.
Hope their plans come to fruition. Raced PBIR and in its Moroso configuration.
I worked at and raced/used the facilities at Moroso and PBIR for years. I also live in nearby Jupiter Farms. Like many others, it was heartbreaking to see "our track" sold. In my opinion, Palm Beach County made a big mistake in letting it go. It seems Martin County will reap the benefits and windfall of tax revenue from this new facility. I signed up on the website for updates. It won't be much further from my home so I'm very excited about the future of racing in our area again!
I am curious how this will work out and hope it is accessible for everyone and not something like that Motor Enclave model that is being built in Tampa that seems to be based on buying/renting building units along with being inaccessible for the average non exotic car owner.

My guess is with them planning a drag strip that's not the route they are taking.
The description makes it sound more in the direction of a motorsports country club like AMP, which seem to be growing in popularity. Still, AMP has plenty of events that hosted by 3rd parties and are open to the public, and they're starting to do more actual racing there too (Lucky Dog this weekend).
