SCCA announces 2022 Time Trials schedule

The Tire Rack Time Trials National Tour Powered by Hagerty returns for 2022 with eight weekends on the calendar, headlined by Tire Rack Time Trials Nationals Powered by Hagerty at NCM Motorsports Park:

• March 26-27: Carolina Motorsports Park; Kershaw, South Carolina
• April 23-24: Eagles Canyon Raceway; Decatur, Texas
• May 12-15: Time Trials Nationals @ NCM Motorsports Park; Bowling Green, Kentucky
• July 1-2: Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park; Thompson, Connecticut
• July 16-17: GingerMan Raceway; South Haven, Michigan
• August 6-7: New Jersey Motorsports Park; Millville, New Jersey
• August 27-28: Pittsburgh International Race Complex; Wampum, Pennsylvania
• October 29-30: Buttonwillow Raceway Park; Buttonwillow, California
• November 5-6: Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta; Braselton, Georgia

The 2022 season starts at Carolina Motorsports Park, with Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park and New Jersey Motorsports Park returning in July and August, respectively. Also new for next year is a later October date for Buttonwillow Raceway Park.

The SCCA notes that most events are set to be open to spectators. At a few select venues–New Jersey Motorsports Park, Pittsburgh International Race Complex, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and Buttonwillow Raceway Park–the SCCA will share the weekend with Global Time Attack, “creating a terrific opportunity to scope really neat and quick machinery on course.”
