This place really is a lot like a carnival for car lovers.
Bringing your own pride and joy to the Mitty? Park it in one of the Coker Tire car corrals.
Imagine, if you will, a state fair for car enthusiasts. The Classic Motorsports Mitty Presented by Hagerty is designed to be exactly that. Call it a carnival for gearheads, combining some of the world’s best vintage racing with tons of infield activities for spectators. The Mitty will take place at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, April 24-26.
There’s plenty to see and experience, including close to 400 amazing race cars filling three days of competition. Every breed of automobile can be found on these grids, from Le Mans and Can-Am racers to your favorite sports cars. They’re all brought together at this event each year by HSR.
This weekend will also feature the season premiere of the Masters USA series, which showcases vintage Formula 1 cars from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s.
Bringing your own pride and joy to the Mitty? Park it in one of the Coker Tire car corrals, where vehicles are organized by country of origin.
Want to celebrate the odd and unusual? The Concours d’LeMons will showcase weird and forgotten cars trackside on Sunday, April 26. To enter your own car, just click here.
Anyone at the Mitty can taste some competition, too, as our Traqmate Skidpad Challenge is open to all cars, from bone stock to extremely modified. The goal? Find out whose car grips the best. The Traqmate Skidpad Challenge will be held Sunday, April 26, at the Road Atlanta skidpad—near Turns 6 and 7. There is no extra fee to participate. Once you and your car are in the infield, just head on over.
The Mitty is an educational event, too. GT Radial will host a test-drive program for spectators on Friday and Saturday. All race attendees aged 18 and up can experience GT Radial’s performance tires on a trio of new MINI Coopers. It’s free to participate. Just make your way down to the Road Atlanta test track, located between Turns 5 and 6. Registrations will be taken at the test track.
The Mitty also has a packed vendor row, featuring partners such as BimmerWorld, Coker Tire, Flyin’ Miata, Bad Dog Tools, Hagerty Insurance, V8 Roadsters and many more. Want to treat yourself to some eye candy and visions of your dream garage? This is the place to go.
Don’t want to pony up for a hotel room? Camping at the Mitty is not just accepted, but preferred by many. You just need to claim your $15 camping pass with your tickets.
Sound like a place you want to be? Advance ticket sales are available until Saturday, April 18. Get yours right here. Tickets are also available at the gate during the event.
