Well now I'm definitely going. See you guys soon!
The Tire Rack One Lap of America announced its route for their 2017 event, and this year they’re strafing the East Coast. Bonus: After the group visits Sebring International Raceway, they’ll stop here at Grassroots Motorsports world headquarters to stretch their legs and enjoy some food. Looks like they are going to pass within 5 miles of Pitt Race but not stop? Bummer. I'll go wave at them from the side of the Turnpike!
I was hoping for a PittRace stop as it's one of the few tracks on the list I'm familiar with.
a friend and I are taking an e46m3 as our first time trying to complete one lap! we're pretty excited.
This is something I want to do with my Dad one day. He's into cars and racing, but hasn't ever been on track. This track list is interesting to me and geographically convenient to us, but I don't have a suitable car ready for this year. I'll wave as they drive through Akron.
Won't be making this one YET. Not enough $$$ yet, and have to get the instructional time in at some HPDE's.
Kinda worried I may be in need for a co-driver in 2018 though.

Aside from the competition stops there are additional stops required along the way. The GRM offices are one of these stops along the way. Last year they stopped at Great Lakes Harley Davidson in Avon, OH (relatively close to my home) but I did not realize this was a required stop until too late.
The posted schedule only shows the competition/track stops. When can we expect or where can we get an entire list of secondary stops like the GRM offices?
My understanding is the there is always a little flexibility built into the schedule. Things like going by a track and not stopping are a form of "just in case" by Brock.
I'll start a One Lap thread once we are officially on the entry list and use that to try and keep everyone updated and the GRM participants in touch with each other. Should be a fun time as always.
