There is such a simple solution for this; just combine the classes with low car counts.
In every race other than the RunOffs people have run groups with combined classes.
In my F500 I've run with both Formula Atlantic and Formula Continental. It's not a big deal.
As a 35 year SCCA member I still can't fathom why they won't do this.
