I have a suggestion to research.
Reach out to Mike with regards to what it took to get the documentary available on Amazon and included with Amazon Prime. Also find out from him what sort of analytics and information regarding viewership and the makeup of viewers Amazon provides back.
The reason I suggest this is that I have felt that the documentary on the challenge would be fantastic both in terms of entertainment and in terms of information sharing and inspiration. There's also no way that a documentary on the challenge could be done without providing exposure and raising awareness of GRM. So there is a benefit without having a compromise journalistic integrity. The challenge of course (no pun intended) in filming a documentary is that the filming would take two to three years and then you have editing and post production. I have some ideas with regards to format and direction enough to be able to write a treatment, being a documentary you have no firm idea as to where things will go or the end result, but I can think of three to four teams right off the bat to interview and film with regards to their preparations in advance of the event.
