That space invaders dashboard is horrible.

Give it some flares. No, bigger.
And how about some rear scoops, like an old Group 5 car.
Five hundred horsepower? No, let’s go for a thousand.
Think 20-inch wheels are big enough?
Taillights? Hmmm, late-model Corvette?
Of course it needs a/c, too, and one of those D-shaped steering wheels.
Anyway, that’s how we picture the conversation going on during the planning and construction of this wide-body 1969 Camaro. Someone ticked off all the options. It’s got a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed, Whipple supercharger, Holley Dominator ECU, Chassisworks chassis hardware, 14-inch Wilwoods, Optima battery and more.
Do we like it? Too much or not enough? (Go big or go home, right?)
Well, either way, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro–power courtesy of a 1000-horsepower Borowski LSX–will cross the Mecum block during its upcoming Monterey sale. The estimate is $150,000 to $175,000.
What do you think it’ll bring?
I really love Camaros, but this car... it has some nice touches, but too many things scream "Corvette Summer" was the owner's favorite movie.
What is the bar running along the passenger door, down into the footwell? Some sort of bracing? Why isn't there one on the driver side?
