Still have empty space in your garage? Why not fill it with this Volvo 142 project car?

The 142 is billed as a non-running car, though does come with a “running, carbureted b20 engine.”

The seller also says the Volvo comes with at least most of the things needed to make it roadworthy once again, including engine tune-up parts, rust patch panels, IPD suspension components and trim for the interior and exterior.

Find this 1973 Volvo 142located in the San Francisco Bay Area for sale on Craigslist for $2600.

Early 240 dash and steering wheel, too.  '67 - '93 100 and 200 series are like legos in that regard.

This model is on my bucket list to modify and make into a very special road racer.  I have owned 240's, but never a 140 series.

had a 1973(if I remember right) 144e, it was Auto but it was a cool fun car. Ended up trading for a 1989 240 5spd which also was a fun car but in my opinion lacked some of the classic style.

Wish I still had either one.
