The AE86 is a tough act to follow, but this Japanese-market AE92-chassis Corolla still makes a compelling case as a worthy successor.

Yes, the rear-wheel-drive appeal of the AE86 is gone, though this Corolla features Toyota’s factory supercharged 4A-GZE engine.

This particular example shows just 63,953 kilometers on the clock, or approximately 39,738 miles.

Find this 1989 Toyota Corolla Levin Supercharged for sale from Survivor Classic Car Services for $28,995.

There is an older guy in my neighborhood that has a US spec ae92 tucked in his garage, he never seems to drive it, but has the Florida "antique" plates on it. I need to ask him about it but Im kind of the type that has never felt comfortable doing that

These are super rare and weren't sold in the US, each one came with a 2.5 turn rack which was the fastest rack available for the AE9x-chassis, I was lucky enough to snag one of those racks for mine.
