What’s so special about a replica Cobra with an automatic transmission? When it serves as the hero car for the $140 million grossing, 1995 Hollywood blockbuster “Bad Boys.”
Driven in the film by drug kingpin Antoine Fouchet in the final chase scene (a separate replica was destroyed by the end of the chase), the Kellison Stallion Cobra was placed into dry storage following the completion of filming.
Power comes from a 351 cubic-inch Cleveland V8 backed by an FMX automatic transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end.
Find this 1965 Shelby Cobra Replica for auction from Mecum on January 18.

In reply to David S. Wallens :
Eh.... Maybe a little. I feel like the wheels are slightly too narrow for the tires. The centers are weird, this is what really got me. And the phony knock-offs look extremely phony and weird. And I'd prefer a same-size at all corners setup.
Now I'm looking at that roll-bar down tune, with the bolt in it, near the driver's head. Not great!

That is an understatement. They look like they are almost 4 inches too narrow. The fact that they are cheap 90's steel wheels from a JC Whitney catalog isn't helping.
In reply to Trent :
I kind of like a little sidewall bulge but this is too much. Shotgun the whole wheel/tire package and start over. Wine glass style Halibrands or gray-centered Torq Thrusts or even something modern like Enkei RFP1's would be a huge improvement.
isn't this technically a "villain" car? is that a thing? i mean nobody remembers other cars besides the Panther de Ville from 101 Dalmatians... so i guess it fits
as a side note, I did have to google the name of the car that Cruella drove, and after a few attempts to learn how Cruella was actually spelled; i learned it was the panther de ville

neither of those cars are from 101 dalmations, so my question was more to the point that if the MOST memorable car in a movie is driven by the villain is it a hero car or villain car?
