We've all heard the saying before: "It's better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow." Whether or not you agree with that sentiment, few cars may better represent that idea more than forum user spacecadet's first-generation Honda Fit.
The story goes that it belonged to spacecadet's father for around 12 years, but now has the opportunity to live on as spacecadet's daily driver as funds are saved for another project.
Although daily driving is going to be the car's main role, spacecadet hasn't ruled out the possibility of running it in Gridlife's Spec Fit series sometime in the future.
In the few months of ownership thus far, spacecadet has upgraded the wheels and the tires for better handling (and better looks), and has also replaced the struts, front brakes, rear drums, and a few other worn items to ensure this Fit stays around for a while.
Keep up with what spacecadet has in store for this humble Honda Fit over on the Builds and Project Cars Forum.
