Per, what is that yellow car in the corner?
We're like Penske, but for silly little race cars.
The new fuel pump and fuel filter should flow enough fuel to keep our Kawasaki happy.
Pete's LeGrand is looking great. He's been working on the plumbing and wiring with the goal of keeping things as simple as possible.
We took advantage of the long holiday weekend by working on LeGrand. Based on some weird fuel pressure readings on the Superchips dyno, we replaced the fuel filter and pump with some new bits from Integrated Engineering. We bolted a Bosch 044 fuel pump and custom Integrated Engineering mount to the chassis and plumbed them with a larger Bosch filter. Both the filter and the pump were set up to use AN6 fittings for insurance against leaks.
While we worked on our project LeGrand, Per’s dad, Pete, did some more plumbing work on his own LeGrand. It’s looking pretty good and should be ready for the autocross track soon.
It's a GTM--a 1500 or so pound mid-engined kit car built using a Honda B16. It makes an Elise look porky.
