The mount is made out of very stiff rubber and is set in a machined aluminum housing.
Throughout STPR and Rally TN, we had issues with the car popping out of gear. While some of this was due to the loosening of the left-hand engine mount, it was also exacerbated by the front mount being too soft. We found a good custom mount thanks to a group-buy from the Saab Club of the U.K. While the current exchange rate didn’t help us out on this one, we’re hopeful that this $165 investment will finally take care of our problems.
