It’s now one week later and we’ve gotten a fair amount of stuff done. Here’s what we’ve got left to do:
1) Car and Safety Gear Work a) source and mount two FIA approved seats b) mount two sets of Schroth harnesses (eyebolts are there, waiting to mount seats) c) mount Schroth window nets (just in case a window breaks) d) mount tools in trunk (have tools/triangles) e) mount Safe Drives First Aid Kit. f) source and mount intercom system g) install new rear view mirror h) mount Moroso kill switch i) cut hole in roof for vent from the Stepvan supply company j) cut and mount UMHW sheeting on underside of floor pan. We ordered four 2’x4’ sheets of black UMHW for this purpose. k) apply vinyl stripes, white square for numbers, decals, etc.
2) Drivetrain a) R&R engine/transmission to install Gripper LSD, using newer 5-speed transmission, header, etc. (may wait until after Sandblast)
3) Paperwork a) All done!
4) Shakedown a) attend TSD/Rallycross events before Sandblast
