Our new WRX runs well enough to splash around in.
It only has some slight front-end damage.
The interior is nearly new!
The passenger side fender is not!
The car is stock, which is a plus; and dirty, which is a minus.
This car might be too good to cut up and turn into an 818.
Knowing we’d be receiving one of the first Factory Five 818 kits, which requires a Subaru WRX donor car, we put up a wanted ad on our classifieds forum. A few hours later, we bought a very rough 2002 WRX for $2012.
Long story short, we underpaid by a fair margin. In fact, this car might be too good to cut up and turn into an 818.
