We installed PIAA Super Silicone wiper blades on the MINI Cooper last night. The silicone blade is supposed to be much longer wearing with less streaking than a conventional wiper blade. It comes with a silicone and alcohol treated cloth to pre-treat the windshield.
These blades are available from The Tire Rack for under $40 a pair.
For comparison’s sake, we treated our Saab 92x windshield with Rain-X and purchased a new set of Bosch Micro Excel wipers. We’ll let you know how they compare.
