Over the course of a few years, we turned that E-250 into a do-it-all tow vehicle, workshop and track-side hotel. It might not have been perfect, but it was perfect for us—until we realized we needed a more serious tow vehicle.
Don’t worry, this story has a happy ending, as forum user Pete Gossett willingly bought our Super Van, continuing the legacy with a new build thread over on the Builds and Project Cars Forum.
Do we miss our humble Ford van? Yes, but we can sleep comfortably knowing it lives on in the hands of one of our readers.
