Hopefully you caught our live broadcast of our Mustang’s most recent oil change. While oil changes are not typically that thrilling, we were joined on line by Karl Poeltl from Performance Racing Oils to provide some tech knowledge on the Miller’s Racing Oil we were dumping in our crankcase. Some of the best advice he gave us was to choose your oil based on the most demanding conditions your car will see—splitting the difference doesn’t really do you any favors. If your car is a street/track car, pick an oil that’s suitable for track use as your primary consideration.
