There was information written on the valve cover describing how much oil goes in it, and where the oil filter was. So it at least probably got oil changes sometimes. Turns out, it must have gotten plenty. With the engine stone cold, I got these compression numbers:
1: 178 2: 170 3: 180 4: 180
