I wanted to upgrade the wheels and tires on the fairlane before it goes back to being road legal. It was sitting on some horribly dry rotted 14” pep boys specials, and now I have a full set of fresh tires on 16” crown victoria rims. I managed to find two new pairs of tires on craigslist, a sticky pair of dunlops for the back at $60 and some basic mastercraft tires to run on the front for $40. I really like the big steel wheel look, I have seen it done with cragar soft 8’s and such but this was more economical and looks just as good.
