Once the brakes and suspension were back in working order I could finally drop in the engine and trans I had built for this car. The engine is a 357 Windsor with an edelbrock 600cfm carb, weiand stealth intake, lightning GT40 heads, and stock but rebuilt lower end. I also went the extra mile and converted to a 86-91 crown victoria serpentine belt drive setup and a newer 3G 130amp alternator from a mustang. Unfortunately being my first major build I forgot to install some oil plugs on the back of the block. I spun up the oil pump and splashed five quarts of valvoline race oil on the ground in seconds. Three dollars and two days later I was able to start the engine, boy is it gratifying.
