I bought one of these, new off the lot in ‘78 and then had to sell it two years later. My family found this beauty for me. The body is in pretty good shape, considering it’s age. The original motor had been swapped out with a 1981 CVCC. I’m still trying to figure out what motor the carburetor is from, and getting it tuned… the vacuum hoses properly connected, finding the unobtainium air cleaner box and emission parts has been a challenge. But, it is a JOY to drive around. The car seems to fill people with happy memories.
