My dad and I split the cost of this mostly-original 944S a few years ago. It’s the original S with the 2.5L DOHC engine, revised transaxle, late-model high-offset wheel hubs but no ABS, and all the usual Porsche goodies. Current mods include disabled power steering due to a catastrophic fluid leak and an exhaust cobbled together from bits of several other exhausts. Runs well aside from an ‘interesting’ idle. Huge fun to drive. Shown here in front of Dad’s 1965 Mustang, freshly out of storage after more than a decade.
