The most expensive car I’ve ever bought at under 4k NZD, I love this as much as my wife, sometimes more. It’s given me about as much trouble as she has, but like her, it’s a faithful and good looking thing. Currently adorned with the stock 300,000km smooth cruising B230F still high on compression and smoke free, much like its owner. Long term plans for a mild 16vt swap using a TD05HR-16G evo 5 turbo and external Tial MVS wastegate (both in hand). For now, it’s just fun to drive in its uniquely Volvo way. Purchased by auction unseen 3 years ago after falling in love with a certain FreeEMSed 79 245 in Vancouver, I’ve never regretted owning it. <3
