water-methanol injection

update image

I’m going to put a fog nozzle above the carburetor throat and feed it a mix of water and methanol to slow its combustion so I can continue using 87 octane gasoline and not knock. as seen in this photo, from left to right a 1 gallon per hour oil burner nozzle (note that it has a sintered filter already on it) then an adapter so it can screw toi something else and finally the something else a 1/8” hose barb which will go to a hose from a 1 gallon weed sprayer.

I never got around to doing this and it is probably a good idea because only one cylinder was acting up. One is still enough to cause real trouble…and it did. But when I had figured it out it was too late.
