After searching for months to find the right turbo, software and accessories for my car, one finally fell into my lap… I bought a used RS2 turbo from the classifieds on AudiFans. My friend pulled the turbo for the owner and claimed it was good. I then was lucky enough to be the vulture to someone who had the misfortune of crashing their S6 into a tree at 85mph… RS2 software by 034EFI, RS2 Injectors, wastegate spring, the works. We finally get around to installing it in September of 2010 and upon first start we’re met with PLUMES of white smoke… Long story short, the turbo was toast and the seller took no responsibility. HOWEVER, the wonderful Marc Swanson at EFIExpress (the guy who pulled the turbo for the seller) offered to send the turbo to Borg Warner for me! All I would have to cover is shipping! Well, it couldn’t have come at a worse time for me as we had many family things to do over the next few months. I still took it to a dyno day where it smoked it’s way up to 271whp and 295wtq @ 2bar, tapering to 1.5bar
