I installed the new seats, installed new chrome front bumpers, fab’d and intalled a new exhaust and took it out for it’s first long drive. What a thrill! The seats are way more comfortable than the old and ugly ones, and my old exhaust with it’s blown out glass pack was basically a straight pipe system. I yanked it and fabbed up the new one with a Walker turbo muffler (not much room under these cars). It’s still plenty loud, but much much better inside while going down the road. All I’ve got left is to solve a carb imbalance issue, install the rear bumpers, and give a complete detailing, and I’ll be ready to drive it to Mid-Ohio later this month for the TVR gathering at the Vintage Races. It feels really good not only to get close to the finish with this car, but also to be finishing it with a little spare time left! I’ll post some updated pictures after I’m done with it.
