Experimented with E85 Ethanol for a while. Dyno test did not show much of a power increase. E85 is alot cheaper than race gas though. Blew a head gasket at Sebring PDX in June 2013. Had detonation damage in one cylinder and broken piston rings. May be running too much timing. Shaved the head, cleaned up head and piston o ringed the block and put in new rings. Converted back to race gas. E85 is hell on Weber carbs. Full rebuild on transmission and drive shaft. Time to hit the track.
