Seat Upgrade

update image

Stock Camaro seats leave a lot to be desired. The bolstering is poor, the seats are thin and generally uncomfortable. Having never attempted a seat swap before I didn’t want to waste a bunch of money on some nice seats so I hit up craigslist searching for a cheap pair of buckets. I settled on some seats from a third generation prelude for only $35. The drivers seat is particularly nice in that it has adjustable side bolsters, lumbar support, and still folds forward to access the back seats. I was able to weld studs onto the bottom of the prelude seat pans and after some persuasion with a hammer, get the new seats to fit my stock rails. The result is much more comfortable driving for not much money.
