Bought it from a guy in Eugene for $900 with no information on the car whatsoever, didnt even know the mileage. Been putting some work into it and running it in as many autocross events I can get out to ever since… The car has a 5 speed from a 280zx and a r200 3.9 differential. I also upgraded the rear drum brakes to 280zx turbo rear calipers and run Hawk HPS pads on all 4 corners. The car sits on Tokico springs with Illumina struts and 15x7 Panasport wheels. Engine-wise its all stock, and untouched. Going to run it until it blows up and then put an LS1 in it. The awful smog carbs were choking the car so I did upgrade to a 4 barrel intake and a holley 390 cfm carb. Exhaust is 2 1/4” with magnaflow muffler mated to a 6-1 header. It breathes much easier now and sounds pretty good too… Whole car runs great and is fun to drive, even if it does stink like exhaust inside… More suspension work is in the works and an LS1/t56 swap is probably going to happen late summer or early fall… :)
