Cool. How are they comparing on the track with the F500's? It has to be so much more fun to drive with the bike engine.

Hard to say for the side by side comparison because we can't get any of the top level F500 guys to come out to a regional race. They are a blast to run and very low maintenance. I haven't touched the engine other than an oil change. The sound is incredible. We have some many people come by our paddock space trying to figure out what our car is. They think it is an F500 until they hear it turning 15,000 rpm and hear the gear changes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-H0I-i0WKFM
I'm not familiar with F600. What's the sanctioning body? Where can I see rules? Got any lap times from a couple of tracks we can compare to other cars?
The car is run with SCCA. The proposed rules are based on the current rules for F500 found in the SCCA GCR which can be downloaded for free here http://www.scca.com/contentpage.aspx?content=44 and starting at the bottom of page 8 http://www.scca.com/documents/Fastrack/10/10-fastrack-july.pdf There currently are only two F600's running in the country, but there are at least 15 more currently in various stages of construction. These cars are being built on the hopes that SCCA will legalize the 600cc engines in the current Formula 500 class. Its not 100%, but it is looking promising that this will happen in the next month or two. We will have to run restrictor plates to equalize the cars with the current cars. Here are some unrestricted lap times from both my car and my buddy Clint's F600 at various tracks. CMP - 1:35.7s Road Atlanta - 1:33.8s VIR - 2:03.4s Roebling Road - 1:12.9
