Not quite no needs as per your Classic Motorsports blog ;) http://classicmotorsports.net/staff/andyr/aston-martin-db7-ownership-101/
...but I still cannot get my head around the fact these have depreciated to this point this fast. I'm a huge fan of luxury touring cars and I can actually see myself following in your footsteps with my next purchase. You sir have style and taste!

Thanks Raze. They are actually selling for between $30,000-$40,000. It was a huge deal as a buy. That being said it is an amazing car. I do think that the XK8 coupe is about 85% of the way there though and fro a lot less money. There might not be a better deal available on a British touring car than an XK8.

But a Jag is a Jag, it'll never be an Aston :)

Hi Andy,
I purchased a 98 DB7 Volante on Ebay from a dealer in Long island, NY in Aug- I believe the same that you got your wheels from. The car had 21K on it and was cosmetically very nice, I had it delivered to my Parent's house in Pennsylvania, so that they could drive it for their 55th wedding anniversary. My Dad has had a variety of English cars over the years- MGTD, Hillman, etc, and thought they would have fun with the Car. Last week I drove the car cross country from Pa to Washington State, where I live. I fully enjoyed your comments driving the Aston to California. I too had a lot of people interested in the car. In Michigan people were constantly wanting to test the car. At a gas station in Wisconsin- talked with some guys that were racers. I also had some vibration issues at 1 certain speed. Thanks for the info on the wheels. I only had 1 issue with a broken AC belt. The car generally ran very well on the interstates.

I love mine except fir the limited headroom which continues to bug me.
Oh well I will end up with a Vanquish at some point.
The DB7 is a great undervalued car, well worth the money though repair bills can be crippling.
