One of those “storied” cars. This is a german market 1990 M5 that was imported to Quebec sometime in 2004. As far as I can tell, the next owner purchased it in 2006 in Ontario, and he sold it to a shop which purchased it in order to part out. I got it once the transmission was gone, but the rest of it seems to be there. Cool/wierd things in the glovebox: an uncashed check for $1100, TUV certification from Germany, ~$7000 worth of receipts…some in German, some in French, some in English. A German Dyno chart. In kW. :) Plan: CLEAN it. I filled a vacuum cleaner twice with dog hair. It’s the most disgusting car I’ve purchased. Adjust the valves and check the health of the motor. Insert transmission. Enjoy. It was repainted one of those “Chromallusion” colors over the Sebring Grey. I may fix that down the road.
