how are you getting on with yours? I'm about to hit 60k on my 2009, only recommended maintenance stuffs.
After selling my last Accent and moving (my commute is now 47 miles one way) I realized I needed a new beater. I went new for the warranty. While not having a warranty really isn’t a big deal to me the pregnant SO had other things to say about it. LOL My best mileage is about 37mpg. I added an aftermarket headunit as it didn’t come with a stereo. Five speed and lightweight this thing is fun to drive. Future plans are some nice lightweight wheels, a short throw shifter, bass tube and exhaust. Maybe a 2.0t engine swap from a Sonata. :-D

Sorry, never saw this comment! I just rolled 57k I think. It's been great, throw out bearing sounds like it's going. I haven't even done the recommended maintenance. :( Just oil changes, mostly. Unfortunately I'm missing the finer things in life - like my '98 Cobra and '04 X-Type so this will be going up for sale soon.
