On Saturday, a pop of the hood revealed an engine bay in need of some attention, the grime and grit was thick and nasty.
A quick trip to the local car wash for the pressure washer loaded simple green was the remedy for that problem.
I was careful not to flood the electrical system and knock loose any wiring while using the low setting of the gun.
I started the car afterwards and the amp light came on and stayed on for a bit so I let it run while the under hood heat from the engine dried it off.
The Javelin start and ran normally. That was a relief for me since was afraid it would not run right after the washing. Maybe I can get off my butt and give a solid detailing then use the new parts on it.
